Show Notes
Jennifer Crumbley. On Tuesday, a Michigan jury convictedCrumbley, a school shooter's mother, on four counts of involuntary manslaughter for her son’s killing of four high-school students in 2021.Crumbley is the first parent in the U.S. to ever be found criminally responsible for their child carrying out a mass killing. Her husband, James Crumbley, is scheduled to stand trial next month.
Editor's note: Tangle does not name mass shooters because of the welldocumented contagion effect. For similar reasons, where possible, we also try to share limited information about the shooter and their alleged motives.
